I used to do everything manually: tracking deadlines, planning content, sending invoices, even remembering which client already paid. It worked for a while… until it didn’t.

They’re simple tools I made using Notion and Google Sheets, but they quietly do the heavy lifting so I can focus on actual work (and still rest without guilt).

1. The All-in-One Client Dashboard
Managing multiple clients can get messy real quick. I used to rely on sticky notes and DMs. Hindi nagtagal, nalito rin ako.
Now, I have a Notion dashboard that tracks every detail for each client:
- Deliverables and due dates
- Payment status
- Contract renewals and communication logs
It’s my brain’s external hard drive. I don’t need to memorize who said what on which platform – everything’s in one view.

So I built a Google Sheet to track all my invoices, income, and expenses per month. Simple formulas, automatic totals, and color-coded categories.
No fancy apps, no subscriptions. Just pure tita-level organization.
According to BIR data, freelancers are now one of the fastest-growing self-employed groups in the country – but many still fail to record income consistently, leading to missed deductions and added stress.
Lesson learned: if you track your money well, you sleep better.
4. The Plan B Client Pipeline
If you’ve been freelancing long enough, you know one truth: clients come and go.
That’s why I keep a “Plan B Client” tracker – basically a list of warm leads, old clients, and potential projects sorted by niche and last contact date.
Whenever a contract ends, I don’t panic-scroll through job boards. I already have a list of people to reach out to.
Freelancing isn’t luck – it’s follow-ups, timing, and reputation.
5. The Weekly Reset Template
Every Sunday, I open my Weekly Reset page. It’s my way of checking in with myself:
- What went well this week?
- What burned me out?
- What goals do I want to set next week?
I review my wins, adjust my workload, and realign with my goals. Sometimes may coffee, minsan may iyak – but always clarity after.
This template reminds me that freelancing isn’t just about earning – it’s about designing a life that feels balanced.
